QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (Annual Refresher) (RQF)

Description

Upon completion of this 3 hour refresher course, learners will leave with a renewed confidence having practiced essential paediatric first aid procedures, such as performing CPR, dealing with a choking casualty and much more.

Learning Outcomes

• Be able to assess an emergency situation safely
• Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and not breathing normally
• Identity when to administer CPR to an unresponsive infant and an unresponsive child who is not breathing normally
• Be able to administer CPR using an infant and a child mankin
• Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child who is choking
• Be able to provide first aid for an infant and a child who is unresponsive and breathing normal
• Be able to place an infant and a child in the recovery position
• Be able to assist an infant and a child who is experiencing a seizure
• Be able to manage life-threatening bleeding

If you need to cancel your booking please do so as soon as possible to avoid any charges. We reserve the right to apply a cancellation fee on a sliding scale as follows: within 24 hours of start time we will charge 100% of the course fee. 48 hr – 24hours before we will charge 50% of the course fee. If you wish to reschedule your booking we are happy to do this free of charge up to 48hrs before the course start date.
